The equipment, warranty is as per the manufacturers warranty.

It includes 12 months labour, 24 months on parts and an additional 12 months on the compressor. So that a total on 36 months on the compressor.

Does the cooler have a spring or something equivalent to push the doors close tight to save electricity?

Answer

Yes, the doors are fitted with torsion bar hinging to positively shut and seal the doors.

 How much electricity does this refrigerator use in comparison to your average home refrigerator? Is it energy efficient? Are the castors optional?

Any Glass door refrigerator will use considerable more energy then a solid door refrigerator. True cabinets are also renowned for their over-sized condensing units, which give them high pull down capacity. This is important in a commercial application as the doors are open a lot more then in the domestic application that your home refrigerator is designed for.

Energy efficiency is measures at 6  Kwh/24h. This figure is a guide only and actual usage will depend on temperature of produce being placed in the refrigerator, ambient temperatures, and frequency of door openings.

Castors are standard.

 Built to work in the hottest conditions

Designed with large condensers the ME Series operate in ambient temperatures of 43°C. These refrigerators will work in the hotest locations and are ideally suited to locations that have large banks of refrigeration in close proximity.

 Bottom mounter compressor unit

The Bottom mounted compressor compartment, provides ergo-nomic positioning of the shelves which allows for easy access to all products showcased in your ME Series. The ducted rear wall provides cold air to each shelf offer great temperature stability.
